Forget everything you think you know about cookies. They are not what the Americans call biscuits. They are in fact small, often encrypted text files that are located in browser directories and used by web developers to help users navigate websites efficiently and perform certain functions…WAKE UP AT THE BACK… Due to their core role of enhancing / enabling usability or site processes, disabling cookies may prevent users from using certain websites and enjoying the full benefits of others.
Apparently there have been cookies since the day the internet was born, but we now need to know all about them because the law has changed and so you have to opt in to allow them or opt out not to. Opting in is best. So please do. I’m off for a biscuit.
